Recognition & other activities

I've been lucky enough to be recognised in several competitions, including Commended in the Magma Open Pamphlet Competition 2018, Shortlisted in The Plough Prize 2018, Second in the Pre-Raphaelite Society Poetry Competition 2022, and Second in the Welshpool Poetry Festival Competition 2025.

I have performed widely at spoken word events across the country, both as a headliner and open mic participant. I've read at and led events as part of Wolverhampton Literature Festival and Ironbridge Festival of Imagination, and I've supported other authors at their book launches. I have appeared on radio, podcasts, and led/co-led many in-person and online writing workshops.

I am the host of monthly Zoom poetry showcase and open mic, Virtual Voices, on behalf of Offa's Press. Find out more on the Offa's Press Events page, or by following me on social media.

I am a member of Border Poets, a longstanding poetry group formed of writers from both sides of the English-Welsh border.
