I'm a Shropshire-bred and now Staffordshire-based poet, living on Cannock Chase National Landscape.

My debut pamphlet September was published by Offa's Press in 2019, followed by my first full collection The Taste of Rain in 2023.

I hold a BA in Humanities (Creative Writing) from the Open University, and an MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from Manchester Writing School (Manchester Metropolitan University). 

In 2026 I was selected to be part of Writing West Midlands' Room 204 mentoring scheme, and I was appointed to the position of Staffordshire Poet Laureate.
